dunno if its the scanning, but there is too much bright color. u must point only the most important parts of the drawing. the most important shadows :) everything is fine here :) dont get too much into details :)

“No, you didn’t ‘get me’! It’s an electric drill! You get me, you KILL me!”

Looking good  - make sure you get enough contrast between the lightest and darkest shadows/highlights. I don't know if your scanner makes the whole thing lighter (like mine likes to do...) but I'm just suggesting that you use the whole scale from black to white while shading. Making the darkest shadows black gives more depth. Of course be careful not to make it all over too dark when it's supposed to be a grey horse after all. ;)
Also pay attention to those front hooves, they don't look quite so realistic as the rest of the horse at the moment.
I find it interesting that you haven't drawn the eye yet since I always start with eyes. :D I hope you take your time with this and manage to give the eye as powerful look as the pose of the horse itself is.

lol... uummm ... I'm not quite positive what you're saying..but I THINK I know...and I'll have to remember that :) I find drawings with too many details really hurt the eyes :) I'll keep that in mind thanks!
